Looking for something to do this weekend with friend or trying to get out with the family? Here are 10 of the best events going on this Easter weekend. There is something here for everyone. From fun bottomless brunches to family friendly easter egg hunts!  

1.Breakfast with the Easter Bunny & Easter Eggstravaganza in Coronado

Breakfast includes egg hunt, crafts, goodie bags, prize wheel and more on April 15, starting at 9 am. $9-$11; tickets must be purchased in advance. From 1-3:30 pm, enjoy egg hunts, a life-sized Candyland game, Easter Bunny visits, carnival games and crafts. Egg hunts free; fee for some activities. 2. Eggstravaganza at Birch Aquarium at Scripps

Welcome spring and the changes it brings during this annual event where you can make a shark egg craft, view animal eggs, join an “underwater egg hunt” and more. April 14-16, 11 am-3 pm. Free with admission. 2300 Expedition Way, La Jolla.

3. Spring Egg Hunt at Adams Recreation Center

Egg scrambles, face painting, crafts, music and more. April 15, 10 am-12:30 pm. Bring a basket. 3491 Adams Ave., San Diego. 619-235-1149. 

4. Belmont Park’s Easter Bash

On April 16, join the annual egg hunt on the beach (9 am-12:30 pm; register online) as well as an exciting hunt within the park (1 pm). Up for grabs are 12,000 eggs filled with candy, toys and Belmont park goodies. Don’t miss a special brunch buffet at WaveHouse from 9 am-12:30 pm, and meet the Easter Bunny from 2-4 pm in the food court area. Egg hunt in the park is free; $5 for beach egg hunt. 3146 Mission Blvd., San Diego.

5. Egg Hunt at Morley Field Sports Complex

6. Easter Dining Cruises by Hornblower Cruises

7. A Spring Party At The Botanic Garden With Bunny

What better way to celebrate the spring season than a jaunt through the San Diego Botanic Garden? For the special Easter event, expect photo ops with the infamous bunny, children adorning hand made bunny ears (complementary of the event) and whiskers thanks to the face painting team. As if that’s not enough, there will be real bunnies in the petting zoo. The garden gets an animal twist on Saturday, April 15th. More Details Here

8. Easter Bunny’s Basket At The Zoo

Head on over to the San Diego Zoo if you’re looking to ramp up the animal style festivities. Peter and Paula Cottontail will be there posing for photos in the heart of the animal kingdom from April 1st-16th.  More details Here

9. Easter Bunny Teas

Enjoy kid-friendly petit fours and mini-pastries paired with a traditional European afternoon tea service. Families can participate in an Easter egg hunt, watch a magic demonstration and meet the Easter bunny. 2:30 to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday. 10. Redbull Air Races

The Red Bull® Air Race World Championship makes a welcome return to San Diego on the 15-16 April 2017. Set on the Pacific coast of California the location provides the perfect backdrop for a race. San Diego last hosted a Red Bull Air Race back in 2009 and proved extremely popular with the fans that have often asked when the Air Race would return, well 2017 is the answer.
