The goal of this program is to collect new, unwrapped toys each year and distribute the toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community. Based on the organization’s website, year after year there are the least amount of donations for Boys and Girls 6-12 years old.

Meals on wheels: Care Packages
The goal of this program is to provide services and supplies to older people in the community to allow them to maintain independent living. You can deliver meals or put together a care package. Look at the following website for details regarding care packages for seniors.
Warm Coats Drive at Burlington Coat Factory
They work to help provide individuals with warm cloths in the cold weather. It is a national non-profit. If you don't have a lot of time it can be as simple as dropping off a gently-used coat. You can drop them off at any of these Burlington Coat Factories; San Diego, City Heights, Clairemont, La Mesa.
Holidays for Heroes

Third Avenue Charitable Organization
Volunteers help prepare and serve meals twice a week. Third Avenue Charitable Organization is seeking assistance during the Christmas season to prepare food baskets and personal hygiene kits for the homeless.
